For £7.85 to £8.46 per client, rent a comfortable, soundproofed therapy room in Edinburgh, right on the tram/bus routes, for 3.5-hour or 6-hour weekly blocks (£110 or £170 per month). There's a video-phone to buzz clients in; good business wifi for online sessions; free nearby parking; a lift and accessible toilets; and gender-neutral loos. It's suitable for one-to-one and couples therapy/coaching, and group workshops. It appeals to art therapists, yoga therapists, somatic therapists, YP therapists, coaches, and other mental health and wellbeing practitioners. The area is full of nice wee cafes, shops and eateries, it's a few minutes' walk to Leith Links, The Shore, or Pilrig Park. We're in the newly (2023) renovated historic Leith landmark, The Red Sandstone. The room has plenty of natural light and ventilation and is comfortably heated in winter. The room is 9.5m x 3.5m and features: - Three comfortable couches - Large 'dining' table with padded chairs - Sink, kettle, fridge and microwave - Lots of plants - Colourful and quirky decor and soft furnishings - Wooden floors and rugs - Several lamps, as well as overhead lighting - A very large window for bright light and ventilation - Good heating (can change temperature and turn on/off) I'm a psychotherapist, life coach and psychoeducation workshop facilitator, and this is my therapy space:) I rent to a small number of fellow therapists who also enjoy a personalised home-from-home vibe to use this gorgeous room when I'm not working. I'm in only three half days a week, so there's plenty of usage available. I offer 6 hour and 3.5 hour blocks, which include time for therapists to take breaks. I've factored in additional handover time too so there's no rushing:)
